It is minuscule, but that is one domino Israel wouldn't want to see fall.

Imagine what it would say to everyone else, including a lot of Israelis with duel citizenship.

The point is not that aid to Israel is much of the budget, but debt doesn't matter, until it does and when that point is reached, there will be a lot of expenses on the cutting block.

Personally I suspect the United States will go the way of the Soviet Union in the next decade, as states and regions start issuing local currencies and foreign policy becomes between California and Texas, etc.
