It seems like the only things the powers that be try to control the price of are silver, gold and food. Everything else is just sponges to soak up the tsunami of excess investment money.

The basic problem is the medium has become the message. Markets need money to circulate, but people see it as signal to extract and store. As tactile creatures, we like to obsess over those shiny things we can hold, even if figuratively and abstractly.

Nature though, remains cyclical, circular and feedback generated.

Endorphins are fun, but curiosity will get you further. That's the difference between people and squirrels.
