Just because our models of reality are reductionistic, doesn't mean that it is.

Think how much information computer technology has learned to squeeze into very little light, yet we live in a sea of it.

Energy tends to both synchronize, which is centripetal, or harmonize, which is effectively centrifugal. So nodes and networks, organisms and ecosystems, particles and fields.

The function of culture is to synchronize everyone into one larger organism, yet this tends to spin out of control and we become the mob.

To culture, good and bad are some cosmic conflict between righteousness and evil, while in nature, it's the basic biological binary of beneficial and detrimental, the 1/0 of sentience. Top down, versus bottom up.
