Keep in mind that you still use the binary to frame the unity. Such as matter and energy. Consider that galaxies are energy radiating out, as matter/form coalesces in. If we want to understand reality, it would seem more function of how this resulting circularity, polarity and balance played out, before dismissing it.
Energy is analog, while structure and form are digital. Quanta are fuzzy, because they are trying to extract information out of energy. Between the crest of these fluctuations are the troughs.

Consider the issue of time. As mobile organisms, we experience our reality as flashes of perception, in order to navigate. Then tell stories to one another and build cultures and civilizations out of the collected knowledge, so we naturally think of time as the point of the present, moving past to future. Physics codifies it as measures of duration.
The reality is that change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. Potential, actual, residual. Duration is this physical state, as events form and dissolve.
Time is an effect, like temperature, pressure, color, etc. We could use ideal gas laws to correlate volume with temperature and pressure, but they are only foundational to our emotions, bodily functions and environment, not the sequence of thought, so we can be more objective about them.
There is no “dimension” of time, because the past is consumed by the present, in order to inform it. Aka, causality and conservation of energy.
Different clocks can run at different rates simply because they are separate actions, like frequency, or metabolism. There is rabbit time, turtle time, tree time, etc. Though much of human history has been about getting everyone dancing to the same tune, reading from the same script, following the same narrative, using the same currecy, etc, so there is a tendency to coordinate towards some universal time, but the effect is that it all becomes a race and we are all on rabbit time.
Though the turtle is still plodding along, long after the rabbit has died.
So the process/energy churns along, past to future, generating patterns, while the patterns rise and fall, future to past.
Consciousness goes past to future, while thoughts go future to past.
Lives go birth to death, while life moves onto the next generation, shedding the old.
Products go start to finish, while the production line goes the other way, consuming material and expelling product.
The feedback being the patterns define and direct the process.
Which eventually ties back into the galaxies, as energy radiates, while form coalesces.
To make a long story short, don’t totally ignore the polarities, of which the cycles manifest, as the cycles go around, but we only perceive linearly. Thus thinking it all ends at some goal, or pot of gold at the end of the narrative arc.
Remember the alternative to dualism is idealist monism and that is far more reductionist than dualism.
Reductionism is balanced by contextualization. Another dichotomy!
