Kudos, Monica.

It does seem almost futile to try logic, given the current levels of hysteria and finger pointing.

Though those seeking to cancel history, rather than learn all they can from it, appear destined to repeat it.

The Bolsheviks lined up and shot their useful idiots, when they failed to appreciate the game was all about power and only power.

Though I would go back to the Reagan era, with its compounding deficits, "greed is good" and trickle down economics, as when this dynamic really started.

Though Eisenhower's "Military industrial complex" is certainly the Cerberus to this Beast.

Many of the bankers will be unpleasantly surprised to find that when the needle switches fully over from greed to fear, it will be the generals and their armies, coming out of their bunkers to "restore order," who will then be in charge.

Certainly some are planning on privatizing the whole system and trading their piles of bonds for the keys to the kingdom. Disaster capitalism coming home to roost.

Though eventually people will come to see that fear and greed can only tear society apart. It is respect and responsibility that nurture and build it.

Even the Bolsheviks eventually lost control.
