Life is like a sentence. The end is just punctuation. What matters is how well you tie the rest of the story together.

We are linear, goal oriented, reductionist creatures, so this focus on the conclusion is a bit ingrained, but consider that as these mobile organisms, our experience coalesces as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so we tend to think of time as this point of the present moving past to future. The reality is that change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and rive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Energy is "conserved," because it creates time, as well as temperature, pressure, color and sound. Time is frequency, events are amplitude.

So energy, as present and process, goes past to future, while the patterns generated go future to past.

Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall.

As lives go birth to death, while life moves onto the next generation, shedding the old.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past. Though it's the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems processing the energy, while the central nervous system sorts the information.

Being reductionist, we tend to focus on the nodes, from atoms to individuals, rather than the networks creating and defining them. Even though the material is more positive and negative charge, than any actual substance. Fluctuations.

As our consciousness functions as an interface between the body and its world, we are actually more the network, than the node.

Waves tend to either synchronize, which is centripetal, or harmonize, which is centrifugal, so that is why there are nodes and networks, organisms and ecosystems, particles and fields.

The price we pay to feel is that much of it is pain, as the price we pay to think is that much of it is confusion.

Ups and downs.

Waves.

And energy.

The anarchy of desire,

versus the tyranny of judgement.

Even galaxies are energy radiating out,

as structure coalesces in.
