I would disagree with you, on Russia.

They had a serious reality check, with the fall of the Soviet Union. Then when invited to the capitalist dinner party, discovered they were on the menu.

When we were young, Russia nd Ukraine were both part of a country we called the Soviet Union. It really has been civil war, stirred up by our crazies, who need to keep finding enemies. When the USSR collapsed, Arab terrorism conveniently rose to the occasion. Although we first supported Osama in Afghanistan, back in the 70's.

Then when it got boring and not profitable enough to clean up our messes, we've decided that Russia and China are now the enemies again. Even though our financiers made China the economic powerhouse that it is, by exporting all our industry and turning our workforce into drug addicts and fast food workers.

When our neocons said they wanted to turn Ukraine into another Afghanistan, to break Russia like it broke the UUSR, the Ukrainians should have considered how it turned out for Afghanistan.

The fact is that we are headed for our own reality check and Russia and China will just sit back and watch, as we tear ourselves apart.
