Maybe if the field were on firmer ground, the crazies couldn't grab the flag and run off.

For instance, as mobile organisms, this sentient interface our body has with its situation functions as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so our sense of time is the present going past to future. While it is the basis of culture and civilization, as narrative and history, the evident fact is that activity and the resulting change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Energy is conserved, because it manifests this presence, creating time, temperature, pressure, color and sound, as frequencies and amplitudes, rates and degrees.

So the energy, as presence, goes past to future, because the patterns generated come and go, future to past. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall. No tiny strings necessary.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past, rising and falling like waves.

Suggesting consciousness manifests as an energy.

Which would go a long way toward explaining how our sense of being relates to this sense of a material world, given it is the digestive system processing the energy and feeding the flame, while the nervous system sorts the information, signals from the noise, with the circulation system as feedback in the middle. Making the mind more referee and focal point of sentience and primary emotions, than its source.

There is a lot I could add to this, but I find that while it makes sense to the average 15 year old, the implications tend to explode the heads of those with a lot of higher education, given academia is largely the study of events and thus time.

Just making the point there is a lot of unexplored territory, when it comes to human knowledge.

Galaxies are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in.
