For one thing, money functions as a social contract and accounting device, enabling mass societies to function, not a commodity to mine from them. The tool is not the god. Markets need it to circulate, while people see it as signal to extract and store. Blood is a medium, fat is a store. They get mixed up and the system breaks down.

Everyone trying to save notional value individually amounts to an enormous scam, yet public savings is a commons and that only works where responsibilities come first and rights come second. Which would be an serious cultural shift.

Logically a spiritual absolute would be the essence of sentience, from which we rise, not an ideal of wisdom and judgement, from which we fell. Monotheism is explicitly about rule from above. Consider democracy and republicanism originated in panthesitic cultures.

How much of a shift would that be?
