Maybe Western religion is about putting a dualistic reality in a monolithic paradigm?

That positive charge is the one and only real charge and negative charge is a false, misleading and lessor charge.

Then the two sides fight endlessly, each seeing itself as the one true god. Like liberal and conservative.

The anarchies of desire, versus the tyrannies of judgement. The bottom up energy driving, versus the top down structure defining and directing.

Like galaxies are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in. Centrifugal and centripetal.

So the apocalypse is when the one and true god prevails!

Consider a thought emerges from the sensory perceptions, driven by emotional interests, coalescing as a clear concept.

Children's first words are generally nouns, because they are clear objects and thoughts.

Yet these entities are nodes in networks. Organisms in ecosystems. Rising and falling like waves on water.

Western philosophy is obsessed with the object, from the individual to the atom and all its modern distillations, particles, quanta, strings. Yet the network, the entanglement, the society, is a mystery.

One is the node. Oneness is the networking.

If you actually add things together, you get one of something larger, like the ingredients of a cake add up to one cake. What 1+1=2 really means, is that if you add 2 sets of 1, you have 1 set of 2.

The + is a verb, an action, a process. The future is not predetermined, because it hasn't been computed. The present is the act of determination.

Western civilization is the childhood growth spurt. Our body, our technology is further along, but our mind, our society, is still a child. Clinging to our gods and stories of gods. Not quite to the metaphors we come to sense as teenagers.
