Meaning is contextual and subjective. If something exists, it affects context in ways that wouldn't happen if it didn't. Purpose and functionality.
The premise of some absolute meaning is oxymoronic, as there is no context to the absolute.
Our current human problem with meaning is that being context, it's much more about what we give, than what we get, but so much of life is about getting than it is giving.
When it's just about having the biggest pile of toys, we can't afford friends.
We have a culture of rights, but society exists because of responsibilities.
