I also noticed I got a lot less attention on Medium, for the following article, The Rise and Fall of the Western Mind, even though I have more followers. Some followers I mentioned it to, didn't see it, presumably because it's not getting through the algorithm.

Life is too short and is just the surface of much deeper waters. Keep your soul. That's all that really counts.
