Merryman's came from a place called Monkton, in Herefordshire! It's been awhile though. The nearest town is Hereford, Maryland.

The only other family connection to England was that Wallace was a forth cousin of my mother's, also a Warfield. Though apparently more of a party girl from my father's neck of the woods.
