My point is that you do seem to start with energy as the logical source of anything that can be measured.

As in weight, contrast, dimensionality, motion, force, etc.

Space can be nothing and still be infinite, as well as unmoving, aka, equilibrium.

Zero to infinity.

Nothingness and no boundaries.

Also entropy would be irrelevant in the context of infinity, as any energy lost from one place, is replaced by energy being lost from surrounding areas.
