My sense is the Chosen schtick amounts to cultural narcissism.

It does seem Israel is going way too far overboard and no way to reel itself back in, as this would admit to the concerns of the goyim and there is several thousand years of convincing themselves the Jewish people cannot be wrong.

They view their ideals as absolute and the absolute is beyond question.

Yet the West senses this is going wrong, but can't stop being dragged along.

The only hope I can give you, is to observe the West has hollowed itself out. The rich have sucked the life out of the society and the politicians are spineless prostitutes, that likely had to compromise themselves sufficiently to be blackmailed, if they ever thought to stand up.

So if it isn't a radioactive waste zone, the Zionist state is self destructing and the Palestinian people will be stronger for having survived it.
