No pain, no gain.

A big part of the cultural problem is that good and bad are viewed as right and wrong, the cosmic conflict between the forces of righteousness and evil, when the fact is that they are the basic biological binary of beneficial and detrimental. The 1/0 of sentience.

Often too much good can have negative consequences. While our mental abilities very much evolved from dealing with problems, than basking in pleasures.

Yet most issues quickly get framed in that black/white paradigm and obscure the many shades of grey.

As well as that all the colors of the spectrum are between light and dark.

We are linear, goal oriented creatures in a cyclical, circular, reciprocal, feedback generated reality and when we go chasing after that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, from meaning to money, find ourselves running in circles, like a puppy chasing its tail.

Life is a dance, not a race.

Like a sentence, the end is punctuation. What matters, is how well you tie the rest of the story together.
