Nodes are synchronization. Networks are harmonization. Organisms and ecosystems.

Black holes to black body radiation.

I think the biggest problem with physics is time.

As these mobile organisms, we experience reality as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so we think of time as the point of the present, moving from past to future. Physics codifies it as measures of duration.

The reality is that change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. Duration is the present, as the events come and go.

There is no literal dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present to inform and drive it. Aka, causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Energy is conserved, because it manifests the present. It creates time, as well as temperature, pressure, color and sound. Time is frequency, events are amplitude.

So energy, as process and present, goes past to future, while the patterns generated go future to past.

With a wave, the energy drives it, while the fluctuations rise and fall. Which goes to my point that energy, aka, light, is not synonymous with the information derived from it. They go opposite directions of time.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while perceptions, emotions and thoughts go future to past. Though it is the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems processing the energy, "feeding the flame," while the central nervous system sorts the information, signals from the noise.

Consequently the intellectual tendency to describe reality in terms of information, signal and noise, order and chaos, rather than energy and form.
