Individuals go birth to death, while life goes onto the next generation, shedding the old.

Galaxies are energy radiating away/across infinity, while mass and form coalesce into the absolute of the black hole, the eye of the storm, as all energy is shed.

Thermodynamics, up and down. It would be a flatline, otherwise.
