Nouns and verbs.

The Western view of time and place is the future is in front of the observer and the past behind, because we see ourselves as entities moving through space, as our concept of reality is of things, with action as effect, from individuals to atomism.

The Eastern and Native American view is the past is in front and the future behind, as the past is known and what is in front is seen, while the future is unknown and what is behind can't be seen. Which does accord with the fact we see events after they occur, then the energy flows to other observers and events.

Imagine if modern physics had originated in the East. It would be totally different.

For example, "Entangled Particles" wouldn't be an issue, if the focus wasn't on the "thing." Same with indeterminacy.
