Obviously the light traveling to our eyes take time. Therefore the information being carried is of past events.

The Eastern view of time is the past is in front and the future behind, because "what is past and what is in front are known, while what is behind and what is future is unknown." Which accords with the fact we do see EVENTS after they occur.

While the Western view tends to see the future as in front and the past behind, because we think of ourselves as objects moving through space.

The information being carried by that energy changes. Whether it is the light entering your eye, or that making up the structure of your eye.

That is what time is. The changing form of the energy. The energy is the present. The light that left the sun 8 minutes ago is not now leaving the sun, but it is entering your eye.

I guess it is just too complicated.
