One time, as a child, I was laying on the porch, studying this ant, when it stopped and I could see this tiny cone of consciousness, waving around with its antennae. It’s been a bit of an issue my whole life, seeing consciousness.
Many people refer to them as “floaters,” those spots in the vision, but I long ago realized they were others consciousness, bumping into my own bubble of being.
Over the years, I’ve learned to turn my mind into an antenna and sense others being, fleeting thoughts, emotions, attention, etc.
Light really is a wireless connection and we only consciously “see” a small fraction of the information it carries and sense a bit more, but it runs very deep. People are just the thin layer on top.
As individuals, we are like the trunk of a tree, between the branches to the sky and roots into the ground, as we are a network within and a network without.
