Paul,

Thanks. I guess I've considered it fleetingly, but my inability to play by current rules pretty much precludes it.

I don't seem to get much notice for what I do write, so I guess the time isn't right anyway.

As I see it, I understood enough about debt in my 20's to know that when the country had a choice between Carter saying to put on a sweater and Reagan saying to put it on the credit card, there would be no turning back. So I'm just a little bit ahead of the curve and will have to wait until everyone else comes to terms with the fact the old model is broken and we need to start work on a new one.

As I've been telling my daughter since she was a child, my generation is going to blow up the world and hers will have to put it back together.

She must have taken it to heart, because she spent 4 years teaching high school in Memphis and just finished her second year of law school, to be a juvenile public defender.

Building foundations is the place to start.
