Reading today that Goldman Sachs suspects AI will be one more, very large bubble. Apparently there isn't sufficient financial gain from automating our bullshit generation.

Maybe it is because, like all other religions, dogmas, ideologies, we do not seem able to impose our will on nature.

As these linear, goal oriented(yes, "progress, "heaven," "singularity," whatever, is a goal) creatures in this cyclical, circular, reciprocal, feedback generated reality, we haven't really internalized the implications of the earth being round, not flat.

What goes round, comes round. Aka, karma.

When the feedback loops don't have any circuit breakers, the mic up to the speaker, the shriek goes parabolic.

It'a called "addiction." Whether it is the next million, or the next line of coke. Dopamine.
