Refutation of the “all-knowing absolute,” in the words of Pope John Paul 2.
Knowledge being a cycle between distillation/reductionism and contextualization, from our place in the human context. Coalesce, expand, repeat.
The absolute being a base state, which is certainly not identical to the ideal, as a universal perfect.
The perfect being the enemy of the good.
The good being that which is contextually well adjusted, ie, unique to its situation.
So a belief system where we are our own fluctuation along the spectrum between the absolute and the infinite.
Hopefully somewhat in harmony with the fluctuations around us.
