Remember your thought process occurs as flashes of perception, like a movie camera taking a series of still pictures. Otherwise it would just be a whiteout of energy and the information carried by it.

Different clocks can operate at different rates simply because they are separate actions. Think metabolism.

Plants don't operate like this, because they don't need to intentionally move and seek nutrients.

That's why time/frequency, is both illusory and existential.

Waves tend to either synchronize, which is centripetal, or harmonize, which is centrifugal. So there are nodes, synchronizing their functions, or networks, where they harmonize activity, as the energy equalizes.

So, organisms and ecosystems, particles and fields.

Gravity is a centripetal effect, so waves pull to the center and at the center are black holes, with quasars shooting out the poles and they are like lasers, synchronized light waves.

That society is all about everyone following the same rules, using the same measures, aka, synchronizing their actions, it might seem there should be some universal measure of time, but that is the illusion.

The problem is when everyone does the same thing, it becomes a race and the feedback causes us to spiral into these maelstroms of cultural obsession.
