Since a spiritual absolute would be the essence of sentience from which we rise, not an ideal of wisdom and judgement, from which we fell, maybe we are just looking in the wrong direction.

Children can revel in sentience, but adults have this fixation with assigning form and meaning to everything.

Judge less, see more.
