Symbolic language is one of those tools that's become a god. Like money.
Once that little voice in the back of the head learns language and starts spouting off opinions, it's like the sun outshining all the stars.
People love to communicate, but language chops it up into discrete, processed chunks, necessarily drawn to subjects in common, that are also chopped up and processed, like work, sports, media, politics, religion, etc.
The trick is sensing the flow and harmonizing with it, even if the topic has wandered off into the bushes.
Time isn't the point of the present, moving past to future, but change turning future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. So there is just this ever present. Time is frequency, events are amplitude.
As Emerson said, we are but thickened light.
