I grew up on a farm, around more horses and cattle, than people, but liked to read, as it is easier than socializing and more informative.

So viewing culture though the lens of nature, rather than having to frame nature within a cultural frame, I realized much of it is patchwork indoctrination, but getting others to look outside the various bubbles is close to impossible. While we are our bubbles, being able to sense all the streams flowing though and carrying them does open up one's mind.

It does seem the race for money is what is driving us toward the most immediate cliff. Profit trumps quality and the wheels and doors start falling off the planes and no one knows how to fix it....
