I think there are various thing we look at backwards.
For example, a spiritual absolute would necessarily be the essence of sentience, from which we rise, not an ideal of wisdom and judgement, from which we fell. Simply that we are aware. The light shining through the film, than the images on it.
Conflating the ideal, which is aspirational, with the absolute, which is elemental, is logically incoherent.
Reality is the energy radiating out, toward infinity, while the patterns coalesce in, toward equilibrium. Both entropic.
We fluctuate somewhere in the middle.
