That 300 years was pretty much the Republic breaking into various factions, that only sort of came back together. Politics.

The Germans certainly initiated Nazism, but it seems to still be thriving in Eastern Europe.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, pretty much the role model for all that followed, was Polish Catholic. (Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, etc)

I realize emotion rules in this situation, I am just looking down the road, to where the West, Europe and the United States, really start coming apart at the seams and, like Rome, we have to start putting the pieces back together again.

It certainly seems Israel is backing itself into a corner. Where will it be a year from now? I suspect a lot of Jews around the world are going to be among those asking, where do we go from here?
