The basic insight I try working with, is that energy goes past to future, while the patterns generated go future to past. Energy drives the wave, while the fluctuations rise and fall.

Think about galaxies; the energy radiates out, as the structure coalesces in.

So literally anything we can measure amounts to a consolidation. Measurement is structure. and vice versa. While the energy might animate it, it's not synonymous with it.

In a factory, the product goes start to finish, future to past. while the production line goes the other way, consuming material and expelling product. Toward the future, away from the past.

Given waves tend to either synchronize, which is inherently centripetal, or harmonize, since the energy radiating out tends to equalize, harmony is centripetal.

So there are nodes and networks, organisms and ecosystems, particles and fields.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past. Rising and falling, as the energy passes through.

Another thought is that gravity is a centripetal effect, so might it be a consequence of synchronization across the entire spectrum and there is no missing mass, but mass is an effect of gravity. The synchronization of energy into order, which is more energy defined by little information.

As opposed to a field, where it is a lot of information, but equalization allows it to be statistical.

I like to say my understanding of physics is based on trying not to get too hurt, too often.
