The biggest con is equating a market economy with capitalism. When the medium enabling markets is privately managed, we are all tenant farmers to the banks.

Neo-liberal capitalism and bacteria operate on the same infinite growth model. The problem is when they reach the edge of the petri dish, or the resources.

The advantage of multicellular organisms is being able to sense and navigate their situation and surroundings. Feedback, rather than crashing.

Societies, as communal super organisms, evolve organs similar to the body's organs. Such as government, the executive and regulatory function, as nervous system. To steer society and mediate its factions. The tyranny of judgement.

Banking and money evolved as a form of circulation system, to distribute resources and energies around the society.

We have evolved just enough to understand that government, serving the entire body, is necessarily a public function, even if it works best to have one particular person situated at the top.

We have not yet evolved enough to understand that banking has to be a public function as well. Largely because those in control of this function have the resources to hide this fact, given they can control anyone actually in public office.

Though this is reaching a terminal phase, as government has been totally hollowed out and only the most morally empty, or simply stupid are allowed to fill the roles.

The only public works allowed is the military, so whenever these stage actors feel the need to act important, they go blow up some little country.

If Calamity Joe is not example enough, keep in mind, Charles 3rd is the British head of state. Obviously because it is the cartel, known as The City of London, that actually runs things, so a fake monarchy is a useful device.

Russia and China have basically gone back to private government, with Putin and Xi as respective CEO's, to control their oligarchs. Remember Jack Ma? That's why our oligarchs and their flunkies hate them so passionately.

At this point, these people are their own worst enemy. Even parasites need a healthy host.

Debt doesn't matter, until it does.
