The essence of the node is synchronization. That centripetal dynamic that puts all the waves on the same wavelength.

While the essence of the network is harmonization. All the waves smeared out across infinity.

The signals our minds pick out of the noise are what resonates and synchronizes with our prior knowledge, building on it, like rings of a tree.

Which go back to earliest childhood memories, when we were most emotional and least informed.

Like religions are the childhood memories of cultures. Those languages, rules, habits, relationships, etc, that make a community one.

Galaxies are the energy radiating out, as the structure coalesces in.

The light we see reflected off the world around us, is the parts of the spectrum that were not absorbed, as we live in the noise generated by those other vortices swirling around their core. The grain of sand at the center of the pearl.

We do need those circuit breakers on the feedback loops though, or we go spiraling into that black hole in the center.
