The important part is that America loves its cartoon heroes. Trump can shoot the freaking moon and they will follow.

That the opposition is the same bureaucratic blob that has been getting us in wars for the last 75 years gives the situation its clear cartoon villains.

The advantage of Trump being an egotist and not an ideologue, is that he will be far more effective in surfing that wave, rather than trying to steer it.

The fact he has been an ardent Israeli supporter will be an interesting fork in the road, after the Ukraine mess starts to settle. It will be hard to square the Israelis being on the side of the warmongers, with his Zionist son in law and Christian Zionist followers.

Though by the time we get to that point, there will be a lot more mess piling up and he might see the light.
