The individual is a function of synchronization. A gathering inward of structure into a more solid and stable entity.

The problem is that if it isn't balanced by that connectivity/harmonization with its larger situation, there is nothing to stop it from falling into that gravitational hole in the middle and self destructing.

Even galaxies are energy radiating away, as structure coalesces in. It might seem all we can understand is information, but it's the energy manifesting it. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall.

Now we can certainly go to one extreme or the other, though the more we feed those tendencies, the greater their power over us. While it might seem too complicated in the middle, where we can fluctuate between the one of self and the oneness of the environment, that is where we have the most freedom to decide. Balance, not stillness. We move forward. Desire drives, judgement steers.
