The logical fallacy of monotheism is that a spiritual absolute would be that essence of sentience, from which we rise, not an ideal of wisdom and judgement, from which we fell. The fact that we are aware, than whatever we happen to be aware of.
The absolute is elemental, while the ideal is aspirational. Not only is it dangerous to assume ideals to be absolute for political reasons, as then everyone would think their personal preferences are beyond question.. oh, wait...
But it does create metaphysical boundaries we seek, that are only the horizon. To reach, but not grasp.
The head likes order, while the heart seeks transcendence. We want our cake and eat it too.
So there is always that conflict between the anarchy of desire and the tyranny of judgement. Equilibrium and infinity. Both entropic, but diametrically opposed.
We are born knowing everything and spend our lives learning otherwise. Potential>actual>residual.
People and their narratives are linear, but nature remains cyclical.
