The observer and the observation.

We are these mobile organisms, necessitating this sequential process of perception, in order to navigate. Then, as humanity, we evolved civilization out of narrative based cultures.

So we think of time as the present moving past to future. Yet change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

There is no literal dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

So energy, as process, goes past to future, while the patterns generated go future to past.

The energy drives the wave, while the fluctuations rise and fall. Energy goes toward the future, while events go toward the past.

Consciousness also goes toward the future, while perceptions, emotions and thoughts go toward the past.

Yet it is our digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems, the heart and gut, processing the energy driving us on, while the central nervous system sees, sorts and orders the forms. The flame within and the lenses and filters it sees through.

Our mind is like a movie camara, taking images out of the energy, or it would be all fuzzy and whiteout.

So we only understand the observer, the consciousness, in terms of the forms, the perceptions, observations it manifests.

Yet lives go birth to death, while life moves onto the next generation, shedding the old, being constantly reborn.

We like to clutter our sense of being up with images and memories, rather then just learning the lessons they teach, so we carry life as a burden, rather then living it.

Each of us is our own center of the universe. Keep the bubble of being clear, like a polished lens, not painted over.
