The only one state is equilibrium. The flatline in the middle. Absolute zero.
Chaos as a state is simply the unknown. What your preferred model doesn't explain. We can't know if what appears random to us, isn't ordered in another model, because knowledge of it is outside our model.
Force, on the other hand, is focused/directed energy. It might upset our model and thus create chaos for us, but that doesn't mean it isn't part of a larger causal dynamic.
The problem is that an objective point of view is an oxymoron. The function of a map isn't to describe all the territory but only what is relevant and necessary for our needs. Otherwise it starts to be more noise, than signal.
Knowledge is extracting signal from the noise.
Noise might seem chaotic, but that we can find signals in it, proves otherwise.
