The fact is that having followed national and international politics for much of my 60 years, I do recognize a system in terminal decline and am stepping back from it. When the forces putting a system apart are greater that the ones holding it together, it really is history.
The Democrats had the option of taking the high road, in 16 and accepting that they lost to the clown, but the institution was bigger than any one person and they just had to work around him.
Instead they took the low road and tried throwing more mud than Donald Trump.
What is this Russia business? I guess you were just a wee child, back in the 90's, when our financiers were busy screwing them over and pushing Nato over top of them, after promising not to.
Maybe this is all just for consumption by the rubes, but they are not the ones who will be writing the history books, when the dust does settle.
