The problem is not so much the distribution of wealth, but the financialization of everything. It's like an economic Ebola virus. Everything else dissolves.

Medium seems to be the only broad, long form internet out there, now the blogosphere has faded. Unless it's totally professional, like sub stack. I just try to trade ideas around. It seems the larger the audience, the more it becomes catering to an audience, than exploring ideas. I guess that's a power law, as well.
