Society is that dichotomy of social energies pushing out, as civil and cultural forms coalesce in. Without that tension, there is no society. Like individuals exist in the tension between the anarchies of desire and the tyrannies of judgement, the heart and the head.

People are linear and goal oriented, while nature is cyclical, reciprocal and feedback generated.

Without the ups and downs, it's a flatline.

Sometimes the passions have to come round on themselves.

It's all educational and we've been going in these circles for billions of years, laying down layer upon layer.
