The problem is that there are two forms of connectivity, two poles.

The essence of the organism, the node, is synchronization, while the essence of the ecosystem, the network, is harmonization. With resonance as feedback in the middle.

You get too caught up in the synchronization, like some religions/schools of thought/self absorbed people, you go spiraling down the vortex/rabbit hole in the middle.

You get lost in the harmonization, you smear out across infinity. Given that's what happens when you die anyway, it's helpful to keep some focus.

It is reflected in the political polarities of conservatism and liberalism.

Galaxies are the energy radiating out across infinity, while the structure coalesces in, towards equilibrium. Though what does actually fall into the eye in the middle, gets shot out across the universe, as quasars. Which are like giant lasers, synchronized light waves.

As this sentient interface our bodies have with their situation, we are most vital fluctuating somewhere in the middle.

Though without those ups and downs, it's that flatline again.

The price we pay to feel, is that some is pain.

The price we pay to think is that a lot is chaos.

Though even too much order is oppressive.

"The cracks are how the light gets in." L. Cohen
