The problem is that there is a bait and switch with “free markets” and Capitalism.

One uses money as a medium of exchange, which needs to circulate in order to function, while the other treats money as an end in itself, to be extracted from the economy. Consequently they are at odds, but you are not going to hear this in any economics discussion.
