The problem is we are linear, goal oriented creatures in a cyclical, circular, reciprocal, feedback generated reality. The earth is round, but we still live in a flat world, where tribe is king.

"Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

Because what goes round, comes round. Karma.

"Turn the other cheek."

Because two wrongs don't make a right and unless there are circuit breakers on the feedback loops, everything goes spiraling down that vortex in the middle.

Our religions, might go back thousands of years, humanity might go back hundreds of thousands of years, but the biology goes back billions and the physics is eternity.

If we don't understand the premises, all the praying and patches are just one more Tower of Babel.
