The problem isn't so much the boxes themselves, as when they go from being the medium to being the message. From being a tool, to being a God.

Language is a good example of our structure of thinking as a necessary, though subjective box. Even the little voice in the back of your head conveniently speaks your native tongue.

The nature of reality is energy and the forms it manifests.

Science has trouble clarifying energy, because it is only defined by the forms it is expressing. Like a wave, the energy is what drives it, while we perceive the fluctuations rising and falling. All that really can be said of energy is that it is "conserved." Which logically means it only exists as the present, since it isn't being lost to the past, or gained from the future.

That it is constantly changing its shape is what creates this effect we call time.

As these mobile creatures, necessitating this sequential process of perception and having evolved these narrative based cultures, we experience time as the point of the present moving past to future. Like we see the sun rising in the east and setting in the west.

The reality though, is that change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

There is no literal "dimension" of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Cause becomes effect.

Making time an effect and measure of this energy. Like temperature, pressure, color, sound. Frequencies and amplitudes. The fluctuations of the waves.

Time is frequency, events are amplitude.

Lives go birth to death, while life moves onto the next generation, shedding the old.

Consciousness goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts go future to past, like the rising and falling waves.

Which sugggests consciousness functions like an energy. Always seeking the limits of its containers and either expanding them, or breaking free of them.

Yet it is the gut and heart processing and circulating the energy driving us on, while the head sorts through the information precipitating out. Suggesting the mind is more filter and lens of this light within, not necessarily its source.

Our desires seek transcendence, while our thoughts seek order.

So we fluctuate between them. Constantly building and breaking boxes.
