The question is, what generates these intellectual vortices?

Our minds sort signal from the noise. Now in this modern world, obviously we naturally prefer those that lead us in the most positive and beneficial directions.

Yet is that true throughout the evolution of our minds?

It would seem that in our more primordial states, it is that which naturally synchronizes with our prior understanding. thus enforcing our beliefs, as we promote and magnify the supporting information.

Then we bond with those on similar wavelengths.

The question is, are we any different today?

The larger reality though, is that we exist in this sea of ambient noise. There is no signal, without noise.

Given our lives and thus our beliefs go through life cycles, where the positive feedback building them up will turn negative, if there is no more supporting signals and noise. Which is often due to the fact they require ever more support, the more larger they get. As the old saying goes, the bigger they come, the harder they fall.

Often the original compelling insight is taken on by the resulting management, say Steve Jobs to Tim Cook. Then it starts to pad out, with all the fans, influencers, followers, etc. eventually to the point it loses that original focus.

So whether it's a child's daydreams, or empires, they all rise and fall, across that infinite sea.

The consequence of which is an overall harmony.

So we exist in that fluctuation between synchronization and harmonization.

Nodes and networks. Organisms and ecosystems.

The old believes TINA and stagnates.

The new sees, then becomes the light pouring through the cracks.
