The reason why our elected officials seem so infantile and inconsequential is because they are. Their only real function is to create the public debt the banks need to function. The secret sauce of capitalism is public debt backing private wealth. The wars are just a way to make it go away, so more can be borrowed.

Money is an accounting device, not a commodity, so to store the asset side of the ledger, a debt has to be created.

Medium and store are not as interchangeable as our economists seem to think. Blood is a medium, fat is a store. Roads are a medium, parking lots are a store. The hallway is a medium, the hall closet is a store. The average five year old can figure it out, but economists are educated. Which means their brains are pounded into whatever sterile little boxes the system demands of them.

Just hope the wind is blowing easterly, on the day World War 3 occurs. Though you might get some of the radiation from over here, drifting in with the trade winds.
