As I keep noting, while Western colonialism was a tide that washed across much of the world and is now receding, leaving its heart, Europe and the US, delusional as to their futures, positioned as managers to a world that doesn't want their management, Israel is more of a vortex and that suggests a situation that will continue to grow parabolically, until it shatters.

Trump's poll numbers on everything he has done, regarding the controlled demolition of the deep state and much of foreign policy, are over 50%, yet on his idea for Gaza, it's 13%. So the question is whether he is serious, or is he coddling part of his coalition, while tying strings around it.

If the various fronts Israel is fighting do settle down, there will be much less to contain the internal tensions and conflicts within Israel. The psychos on the right will only get crazier, as the secular left gets more disillusioned.

Given Europe is about to have its own psychotic episode, as it starts to come to terms with its moment in history having passed and the America Firsters in the US will be more turned off by Israel's behavior, to which the redneck Christians and AIPAC will be fighting from exposed positions, it does seem Israel is being given the rope to hang itself.
