The technology might be expanding by leaps and bounds, but the infrastructure on which it rests is crumbling.

The problem isn't so much the tribalism, as we all hav our groups, but the connectedness is ignored. The West is very object oriented, from atoms to individuals, but they are all products and feedback with the ecosystem, the network.
