There does seem to be an inherent contradiction, between the energy driving this process and the information defining it.

Consider that the energy radiates out, causing the information to settle back to equilibrium. Basically the energy goes to infinity, while the information cancels to zero.

Think in terms of a wave; The energy drives it, while the fluctuations rise and fall. So the energy goes to the future, thus being "conserved," while the information is lost to the past.

If the energy goes to infinity, than the energy lost from one area would be replaced by energy radiating in from surrounding locations.

Yet the information is really just patterns expressed by intersecting energy, like the waves created as it passes through a medium of other energies.

Are particles and waves the energy, or just the information?

Galaxies are energy radiating out, as form coalesces in, creating these cosmic convection cycles.

Also, consciousness goes to the future, while thoughts go to the past, yet it is the gut and heart processing the energy, feeding the flame, while the head sorts the information being generated.

So it would seem to be feedback loops all the way down, with linear causation simply a consequence of only looking at a fraction of the system. Sort of like the earth only appears flat, from our point of view.
